Hey noisybloke. Fancy trying your hand at poetry? Fun writing challenge! If you haven’t participated before or never written a poem, please don’t let that deter. Your poem could be short, could be long. Anything goes! This group got me to write my first poem EVER (otherwise known as ‘since third grade’.)

whatto

thanks for all the feedback, most people i know just sort of look at me strangely if i play the more ambient stuff, then ask for a 12 bar... quite worrying really as the cellist and i are soon to do some livework...

anyroadup, i am familiar with Philip Glass (loved the mathematical piano piecethingies he did - soz, terrible with names) Stockhausen's usually a bit too hefty for me i've found, or at least what i've heard. same as Varese - though it's obviously milestone stuff and i can appreciate it for that. i like a lot of what i've heard of laurie anderson, particularly liked her contribution to eno & schwalm's "drawn from life"

right, best crack on - busy with the "[end of] winter collection" and at the rate i'm going it'll probbly turn into "spring"..

thanks again, nice to know people are liking the noises

I was wondering...are you familiar with Phillip Glass, and what do you think of him? John Cage...Stockhausen...Laurie Anderson? I am not comparing you to them, just wondering if you are familiar.

I spent some time with your music today and I must say I am extremely impressed. Such a diverse array of sounds ALL pleasing to the ear. I will be back for another helping soon, as time permits. WELL DONE.....VERY WELL DONE.
